Playing at the Playground
Yesterday Zion and Moriah were excited that it was nice enough outside to play at the playground accross the street. Moriah loved all the big slides and Zion spent a lot of time in the swing.

Nephews
Last week we were blessed with two new nephews. Malachi Micheal (Jacob and Beth) and Tate Zachary (Ryan and Jessica) were both born on February 24th. We were able to visit Tate when he was just a few hours old. Zion got to hold Malachi today and the rest of us look forward to meeting him on our next trip to Ohio.
Weekend Visitors
My parents, Julie, Jason, and Uncle Ken Came to visit us over the weekend. Mom stayed until this morning and then took Zion back to Ohio for a visit.

Zach had Chemo yesterday. This was his first round of Chemo with all the recommended medications. They could not give one of the medications before yesterday because it affects the body's ablity to heal, especially after surgery. It takes 4-5 hours to put all the medications in through his port and then he comes home with more medication through a portable pump for 48 hours.

The Final Touch
Over the weekend my sister, Julie, brought me the final touch for my green laundry room, a cute green and white curtain. She and my Aunt Joan made it together. This room has been a work in progress for several months and I am happy to say it is complete (at least until I decide to organize the cupboards). Now I am working on getting myself motivated to paint the basement toy room-it is rather big and the walls need some prep before I paint. I am considering using the same color as in the laundry room, so I don't have to pick out another color and can save some money on paint. If anyone has suggestions on colors feel free to share, but do it quickly as I might get motivated to start soon.
